The room was full of knights from all over the Country.
With his green hair glistening, Philip walks over to where the other knights of the Wald Domain are. He was clearly the most famous out of all the knights that were there, with multiple people giving him a glance full of admiration and respect.
“Philippppp! Why are we here? I miss the mansion.”
“Do you remember the monster that tried to attack Justice and Lord Wald, just the other day? There have apparently been more sightings of monsters like him. No one that has encountered them know what they are. So the King issued that every knight comes to the capital and have everyone explain their encounters with them.”
“I still see no reason for every knight to come here.”
Sakura’s black hair moves in a wavy fashion as she tilts her head in confusion. Her black hair along with the white complexion of her face, she could easily make someone fall in love with her.
“Maybe it’s due to the King wanting to warn everyone, in some way.”
“Then why didn’t he invite any of the Mages in the Capital?”
“Mages are able to blitz the monsters with their Magic. But knights, on the other hand, have to get close and strike with their swords, which is a bit difficult to do, because of the monsters being able to create a dozen tendrils to fight back.”
Suddenly, a voice they didn’t recognize answers their question. The person who said that was walking towards the Knights of the Wald Domain. As she goes to shake Philip’s hand, she introduces herself.
“Hello there, my name is Celestia Ludenberg. You’re Philip Hendricks, I take it?”
She had a slim figure and pale skin, along with long black hair in two large twin-drill pigtails.
She also had red eyes and gold circular earrings with a red gem placed in the center in each. The Knight Uniform she was wearing was different than most people’s.
It was a gothic lolita-style outfit, consisting of a white blouse with a Peter-Pan collar, a black jacket that includes white ribbon lacing down the sleeves, fastened by a simple white ribbon across her chest to reveal her red tie and the waist of her skirt, which is many-tiered and features white lace.
“Spot on.”
“I’ve been recruited to join the Wald Domain, so I figured to introduce myself to the Knights that I’ll soon be living with.”
“I’m Darkness. As a fellow Knight, I am required to give you my name.”
Darkness as light blue eyes and straight, long blonde hair, kept in a ponytail tied with a braid and red hair clips secured on both sides of her bangs. She wore Clad Armor.
Once all the Knights are finished introducing themselves, the king starts calling people who have had encounters with the newly discovered “Monsters”, to explain what it was like. The king calls on Philip who then starts explaining his encounter.
After he was finished, the Wald Domain’s Knights start discussing stuff regarding the monsters.
“I honestly had no clue that these things existed before Philip told us about them.”
Debra, who seemingly knew the most about Monsters and the like, had no clue that these things existed. Which further helped some people’s points that these things were newly discovered.
“Let’s hope that the discovery of these monsters doesn’t lead to the extinction of the Human race. From what people have described them to be, they seem to be a little deadly.”
“Tch. You’re worrying too much, John. We have Philip on our side; we’ll never lose!”
“I have to agree with Kristi. Worrying too much will never get anyone anywhere.”
After Kristi and Juliun tell John to not worry, all the Knights were instructed to go back to their Domains.
All of Wald’s Knights and Wald himself wait outside. Soon after, a carriage that was being pulled by an Earth Dragon comes near. An Earth Dragon is a special kind of Dragon with legs, that are mostly used for transportation.
They come in all sorts of shapes, sizes, and colors. But the fastest and most prominent ones were the Black Earth Dragons of the Diana species. Which Philip had. Her name was ‘Patrasche’. Coincidentally, she was the one pulling the carriage.
All of the Knights went inside the carriage and eventually, the carriage started moving. But they came to a stop when they reached a forest.
In suspicion, Philip decides to get out of the carriage and check what was going on. The man that was driving the carriage and controlling Patrasche, had been cut in half. There were blood and guts over the seat. And in front of the carriage, were three people standing there. One of the people had a bowl cut and green hair. His smile was “creepy” and his skin was very pale, it had little hints of green.
The other two wore long dark purple robes, with hoods that had pointed tips. Philip pulls out his sword and readies into a fighting position.
“Who are you?!”
After hearing that, all the Knights that were in the carriage step out and stand behind Philip.
“Who are these guys, sir Philip?”
“I don’t know, but it appears that they’ve killed our carriage’s driver.”
“We killed him because it was a warning.”
“A warning? Why?”
The man’s emotionless eyes start to sparkle when he looks at the girl who answered; Allyson. She had long vibrant hair of spun gold and lovely cyan eyes. Her face is as beautiful as a freshly-bloomed flower, exuding majesty and dignity. She can be likened to that of an angel.
“You’re… beautiful… I’m warning you guys to not go past this forest, as it’s my territory…You there—— Become my wife and I’ll let all of you pass.”
“Huh? Sorry, but I’m married.”
“And we have a child.”
John walks forward, looking a little upset at the man in front of them.
“In that case…”
He snaps his fingers. The other two people standing beside him rush forward and cast a spell, the spell sends a blast of fire out of both of their hands. John creates two whips made out of water with his hands and launches them at the burst of fire coming their way. Steam starts appearing when the fire spells and water whips clash.
Philip uses his Wind Magic to get rid of the steam. The other knights go stand beside Philip, with their swords powered up.
“So you guys are able to use Magic too… And you have the numerical advantage too…”
“I’ll let you people off the hook.”

A massive piece of stone grows from the ground. Creating a wall between the Knights and the man. John uses his whips to slice the wall in half. Once the wall was cut, they couldn’t find any trace of the man. Nor the people that were with him.
“C–C–Can you guys please get back in the carriage?! I’m getting very scared.”
The Knights go back into the carriage and resume their trip to head back to the Mansion. But this time, taking a different road from the forest the man warned them not to go.
